YouTube Shorts Remover & Ads Blocker ("the extension") is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what the extension does and does not do with your data.

What the extension does

Hides/removes YouTube Shorts from the pages you visit on youtube.com.
Blocks or hides YouTube advertisements where technically possible.
Stores your ON/OFF preferences (Protection, Shorts Removal, Ads Blocking) locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.

What the extension does NOT do

It does not collect, log, or transmit your browsing history.
It does not collect, log, or transmit your YouTube viewing history, watch history, search history, or account information.
It does not use analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking scripts.
It does not send any data to external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
It does not sell or share any data, because no data is collected in the first place.

Permissions

Permission	Purpose
`storage`	Save your ON/OFF preferences on your own device
`declarativeNetRequest`	Block known ad-serving network requests, evaluated locally by the browser
Host access to `*.youtube.com`	Allow the extension's content script to run only on YouTube pages

No other permissions are requested.

Third-party services

This extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection service. A donation link to PayPal is shown in the extension's popup and on a one-time welcome page; visiting that link takes you to PayPal's website, which is governed by PayPal's own privacy policy — the extension itself does not share any data with PayPal.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the new version will be published at this same URL.
